The man, the myth, the legend. Georges Comté have always been flying under the radar. He has been producing natural wines long before it became a trend, actually for almost 40 years! Georges is living in Emagny in Doubs, a commune in the Franche-Comté region, just between Geneve and Arbois. 

The grapes are harvested from an old organic parcel, then pressed into old barrels for both fermentation and aging. When the wines are ready for it, they are bottled and left in the cellar until Georges believes they are ready. They usually stays in cellar for at least 4-6 years, but there is no procedure, only that they are released when George want them to.
