About this wine 

Domaine Les Grandes Vignes also known as Familie Vaillant have been producing wine since the 17th century and passing on the land from generation to generation. Since 2008 the whole farm has been certified biodynamic and all wines are made without addition og sulphites. 
La Varenne de Combre comes from a single Lieu-dit next to La Varenne de Combre just outside the village of Arcison. Terroir is black schist. The yield is very low and grapes are of phenomenal quality. After pressing in the pneumatic press, the wine ferments on sandstone eggs followed up by aging on old barrels for 12 months.
