What do we have here? Just the top cuvée from Familie Vaillant.
What a bottle—what a damn good wine! Chenin Blanc from old vines grown on black schist and quartz terroir. The grapes are pressed into 400L old barrels, where they undergo both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation for one year. This is followed by 12 months of aging in two 500L porcelain jars and two sandstone jars.
