FATTORIA DI SAMMONTANA

In the Arno Valley in Montelupo Fiorentino, more or less between Empoli and Florence, you'll find this beautiful old winery. Acquired by a the polish family, Dzieduszycki, back in 1867 and today managed by the fourth generation. 

Everything is done organically and all 13 hectares are certified, as well as the over 3000 olive trees. 

The wines are a modern style og Tuscan wine, not as dry as powerfull as some Sangiovese can be. Here they tend to produce more balanced and elegant wines and they definitely succeed with that.  

Among their wines you can find whites, orange wines, light rosé and reds and more complex red wines. All in all great value for money wines!
