About this wine

De Sousa comes from the Les Lormes vineyard in Pommard, from a small 0.2-hectare plot with vines planted in 1949. The terroir is clay and limestone (argile and calcaire). The wine undergoes semi-carbonic fermentation, followed by 17 months of ageing in old barrels. Like all other wines from Seiichi, it is neither fined nor filtered, and only a small amount of sulphur is added — 38 mg/l for this cuvée.
