About this wine

If we had this one blind, we would never guess it was an Aussie Chardonnay. We'd probably place it in Jura, thinking it was either Chardonnay or Savagnin, thanks to its rich complexity combined with outstanding electric acidity. Such a banger from Uffe!

Chardonnay from Piccadilly Valley. Aged 12 months in barrels from Jura, followed by 12 more months in the bottle before release. Unfiltered and, as always with the wines from Poppelvej, low intervention.
