About this wine

Mont is a Tocai Friulano from the vineyard Montona. An old vineyard mentioned as one of the crus in Friuli. An amazing wine, with an aromatic character and deep longlasting taste. Perfect example of what precise and detailed farming combined with patience in cellar can give. After the harvest the grapes are stomped by feet, then macerated for two days in concrete vats. After pressing the remaining grapes the wine finish fermentation and ages for minimum 11 months in the concrete. Hereafter another 6 months in bottle before release!
