2020 Nebbiolo "Outside"
About this wine
Alesandro Salvano may seem like the new kid on the block, but that is definitely not the case here. Alesandro grew up in Piemonte, and winemaking has been a part of his life since he was a kid, with his grandparents producing wines!
DWNL, Drink wines not labels, is the name of his winery, located in Castellinaldo d'Alba, with his organic vineyards located in Montelupo Albese. This gorgeous Langhe Nebbiolo comes from a vineyard only fifty meters from the border to Barolo, hence why it is called "Outside" but reminds much more of an Barolo than a Langhe Nebbiolo.
Whole-cluster fermentation, two years in barrels, and one year in the bottle before being released. And only 933 bottles produced in total.
Try this Barolo-like wine before it's too late!
