About this wine

This Hautes Côtes de Beaune Blanc comes from a clay and limestone vineyard in the commune of Fussey, where Seiichi farms 0,21 hectares. The result is a beautifully expressive Chardonnay — complex yet fresh, savoury yet full of acidity. 

Vinification follows a classic Seiichi style: seven months in stainless steel, followed by 12 months in old barrels. The wine is not fined, undergoes light filtration, and only a minimal amount of sulphur is added at bottling, with a total of 32 mg/l for this cuvée.
