About this wine

Nikolas produces wines that not only reflect Friuli, but also the specific place they come from. Each label is a unique expression of its origin, and for that reason all the wines are made from several grape varieties, since the vineyards are planted that way.

This wine is dominated by Merlot, with equal parts Schioppettino and Refosco. It has a silky structure and elegant fruit — nothing like what you might expect from a northern Italian red!
