PARET SECA VINS

Paret Seca Vins are situated in the heart of Catalonia in Penedés. From here Ivan Gallego, the man behind the winery, produces his amazing and very authentic wines. 

Iva, as his friends and family calls him, has been in the world of wine for many years. In the early 2000's he studied biology followed by a degree in oenology at the Rovira I Virgili University in Tarragona. From his degree he went straight to an internship at a winery in Tuchan in Southern France and then worked for several wineries in his homeland. 

Even though Paret Seca Vins is relatively new in the business, the experience Iva has gained is easy to see and taste. The wines are vibrant in a controlled way, expresses truly the soils the grapes are on and most of all, balance is a key word when speaking about the wines. 

All of the vineyards Iva farms are at the moment organic, but he is improving the farming with many elements from the biodynamic world. The vineyards are only sprayed in the toughest vintages, but it is mostly not necessary because of the healthy grapes as well as the warm and dry climate. 

Prepare yourself to taste indegenius varieties like Macabeu, Xarel-lo and Garnatxa in the most delicious way! Vibrant, terroir-driven, balanced and extremely well-made!
